The Chisago SWCD holds an annual tree & shrub sale as a way for landowners in Chisago County to replenish our natural resources. Tree & Shrub Planting Diagram...Use this form to map out your tree planting. *Remember - for our customers convenience the Chisago SWCD does accept credit cards. Please read through the information below for other order and delivery information. 2010 Spring Tree & Shrub Order Order Early and save $1.00 per bundle! Order by 2/25/10 to save!
To order trees, print the order form at the above link and mail it (or bring it to our office) with payment. Order deadline: April 22nd (or when stock is depleted) All bundles contain 25 bareroot trees or shrubs. Native Tree Packet and Shrub Packet contain 20 trees & shrubs as noted. The SWCD reserves the right to substitute sizes and stock if needed. Tree orders will be available for pick-up in late April. Postcards will be sent in April announcing pickup dates (tentative dates are April 29 & 30, & May 1), times, and location. Unless prior arrangements are made, trees not picked up on the scheduled dates will be forfeited and no refunds will be given. Because of the perishable nature of trees & shrubs, the SWCD is not responsible for their condition after being picked up by customers or if picked up after scheduled dates. Orders are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Please remit total amount due with order. Deadline to cancel an order is February 25, 2010. Any order cancelled after that date will forfeit half of the cost of the order. The SWCD has a rental planting machine available for planting large blocks of trees. Call for details. Please note: ¨ Species that grow over 15 feet at mature height should not be planted under power lines. ¨ When planting along roadways, always remember to keep your trees out of the road right of way.
