What should I do if I find Oak Wilt on my property?        If you believe that you have oak wilt on your property, there is Technical Assistance Available at no cost to the landowner, contact the Chisago SWCD at 651/674-2333, we would be happy to help you with the next steps you should take.  If you live within the City of North Branch you may be eligible for cost share to aid in the control of oak wilt on your property.

Financial Assistance Available: Currently the Chisago SWCD is working under a grant with the State of MN to provide cost share to land owners who may need to treat their property for oak wilt.  Each Township in Chisago County must have in place and enforce a Shade Tree Pest Ordinance in order for land owners in that Township to receive any financial assistance.
